To become a subscriber to our newsletter, it is only necessary to send us your email address. No other details are required. You can opt out at any time you receive a newsletter by clicking on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.
In order to use the paid facility of this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to open an account for you to access our database of criminal records.
For fraud prevention puposes, we store the IP address of each person using a credit card.
The CrimeNet site does not utilize "cookies".
This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Data on criminals, wanted persons, professional misconduct, scams and conartists
These data are collected from public sources such as court records, ASIC reports, government agencies, professional bodies and media reports. Although not accessible to the public, all source data is saved on the CrimeNet website in case of dispute or for future verification.
We only record details of criminals where the person has pleaded guilty or has been convicted by a judge or jury, of a criminal offence. All entries are independently checked and verified before publication.
